French newspaper Le Figaro reported in an advance copy of its Wednesday edition without saying where it got the information that Carrefour plans to sell its 524 Minipreco discount stores in Portugal, the stores generated revenue of 915 million euros last year, down 0.9 percent from 2008, it added.
