35% of Maple Leaf is for sale

The Ontario Teachers' Pension Plan, a pension fund, owning over a third of Maple Leaf Foods is  looking for a buyer for its shares in the Canadian food group according to Canada's Globe and Mail. The fund owns 35.4% stake in Maple Leaf since it backed the McCain family's takeover of the business in 1995.
